WHO WE ARE

The Red Chair Group is dedicated to bringing businesses and Social Media together by helping executives, managers and business professionals of every stripe understand how to integrate and operationalize Social Media in their organizations. to that end, we provide both customized and out-of-the-box training in all matters of social media planning, management and measurement.

Though the Red Chair Group is a growing collaborative association of like-minded business management veterans from a variety of sectors, it is the brain child of Olivier Blanchard.

Olivier Blanchard is a Brand Strategist with 15 years of marketing and operational management experience across a variety of B2B and B2C industries, from manufacturing and distribution to new media and consumer goods. He currently manages BrandBuilder Marketing – a brand consulting and marketing management firm based in Greenville, SC that helps companies incorporate the social web into their brand management practices.

His blog the brandbuilder blog is among the most respected brand management and social media strategy blogs on the web today, and his engaging presentation style make him an increasingly sought-after speaker on the conference circuit.

Before focusing full time on developing the full operationalization of Social Media course for Red Chair, his “Basics of Social Media R.O.I.” presentation helped redefine social media measurement in 2009, and garnered a whopping 160,000 unique visitors on slideshare in just a few short months. (See it at slideshare.net/thebrandbuilder).

As if he weren’t busy enough with work and lecturing, Olivier currently sits on the SmartBrief on Social Media, LikeMinds and Social Media Club Greenville Advisory Boards.

The content of the program is being co-developed and continuously improved upon with the assistance of an advisory board composed of industry leaders in Social Media program development, integration and management. Though the board will welcome a new advisory class for 2011, it has included executives from Michelin, Coca Cola, Microsoft, Best Buy and Sungard.
